International Monetary Fund (IMF)
The World Economic Outlook (WEO) database holds the IMF's macroeconomic data and projections for its member economies and country groups. It covers national accounts, inflation, unemployment, the balance of payments, government revenue, spending and debt, trade and commodity prices, with data from 1980 and projections for most series five years ahead.
Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
The Creditor Reporting System (CRS) is the OECD Development Assistance Committee's activity-level database of development finance. Each record is a project, programme or contribution reported by a bilateral provider, a multilateral organisation or a private foundation, with its recipient, sector and purpose, channel of delivery, aid type, and commitment and disbursement amounts. It covers ODA, other official flows, private sector instruments and private philanthropy, and is the source for any breakdown by sector, channel or project.
Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
DAC1 is the OECD Development Assistance Committee's table of total flows by provider. It reports each donor's ODA, other official flows, export credits and private flows by aid type, with no recipient or sector breakdown. It is the official source for headline ODA, the bilateral and multilateral split, in-donor costs such as refugees in donor countries, and the ODA/GNI ratio.
Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
DAC2A is the OECD Development Assistance Committee's table of ODA disbursements by donor and recipient country or region. It covers bilateral donors and multilateral agencies reporting their own outflows, and includes the OECD's estimate of each donor's core multilateral contributions attributed to recipients.
Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
DAC2B is the OECD Development Assistance Committee's table of other official flows and officially supported export credits by donor and recipient. It covers non-concessional official lending, grants and equity outside ODA. Bilateral donors report mostly against regional and income-group aggregates, so country-level detail comes largely from multilateral lenders.
ONE Data
ONE Conversion Tables (DAC) holds the exchange rates and US-dollar deflators that convert OECD development finance data to other currencies and to constant prices. Deflators and the exchange rates of DAC donor currencies come from the OECD DAC1 table. Every other currency's rate comes from the IMF World Economic Outlook. Each rate is in units of the currency per US dollar, and each deflator series is rebased to equal 100 in the declared base year.
ONE Data
ONE Conversion Tables (IMF) holds the exchange rates and US-dollar deflators that convert IMF and World Bank data to other currencies and to constant prices, computed from the IMF World Economic Outlook. Each currency's rate is national-currency GDP divided by US-dollar GDP, and each country's deflator is the GDP deflator multiplied by US-dollar GDP over national-currency GDP, rebased to equal 100 in the declared base year. Years after a country's last actual year are IMF projections.
ONE Data
Imputed Multilateral Sectors is ONE's estimate of how each DAC donor's core contributions to multilateral organisations are spent, by recipient and sector. ONE computes it from the OECD Creditor Reporting System and Members' Total Use of the Multilateral System, attributing each multilateral organisation's spending to its donors in proportion to their core contributions to that organisation. Values are gross ODA disbursements in current US dollars.
World Bank
International Debt Statistics (IDS) is the World Bank's annual dataset on the external debt of low- and middle-income countries. It reports debt stocks, disbursements, debt service and projected repayments by borrower and creditor type, with public and publicly guaranteed debt broken down by creditor, from 1970 onwards. The data come mainly from countries' loan-by-loan reporting of public and publicly guaranteed debt to the World Bank's Debtor Reporting System, which is a condition of borrowing from IBRD and IDA.
